Events & Activities
Greater Louisville GRC strives to offer Golden enthusiasts a variety of activities to enjoy with their
dogs, such as introduction to field and obedience events, barbeque/fun day events, conformation
and obedience matches, and veterinary seminars. Future plans include additional supported events
at AKC shows and independent specialties. Activities are open to members and non-members

Thursday, March 17, 2010 - Sunday, March 21, 2010 - Kentuckiana Cluster of Dog Shows, Fair and Expo Center, Louisville, Kentucky. The Greater Louisville Golden Retriever Club will be hosting the following special events:

All Breed "OC" Match - Friday Evening, March 19, 2010 to be held at the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center, Louisville, KY. The obedience match will begin five minutes after the best in show is awarded or approximately 7:05 p.m and last until 9:30 p.m. Cost: $7.00 for the first run through and $5.00 for each additional. Rings may be rented for a fee of $10.00 for 10 minutes per dog. For additional information, contact Marnie Terhune, marnie@dcr.net.
Sunday, June 13, 2010 - Golden Retriever Club sponsored Seminar. Topic - Rehab Medicine and Advances in Treating Arthritis presented by Dr. Mindy Johnson. Time: 2:00 p.m.; Location: Metzgers Country Store, 6791 Shelbyville Road, Shelbyville, KY 40067, 502-722-8850. Cost is $2.00 for non-members.
